A 10 x 4 inch embossed cast iron letter box in a black finish. Heavy duty and hand cast, with fixing screws provided.
A black embossed letter box in the 10 x 4 inch size, hand cast in solid heavy duty cast iron. It is the most compact of our embossed letter boxes, which makes it a good choice for a smaller door letterbox or a neat replacement letter box.

Measuring up and fitting
Before you order, check the size of your door and, if you are replacing an old letter box, measure the hole centre to hole centre distance on the back of the one you have. This letter box has the measurements listed above, so you can compare them with your door and mark the position before you cut the opening. Your letter box arrives with the correct number of fixing screws to install it.
Choosing your size and finish
Our cast iron letter boxes come in three sizes, 10 x 4 inch, 12 x 4 inch and 14 x 3 inch, in black or antique brass. Caring for cast iron
Cast iron can rust if it is exposed to moisture or high humidity. Where the letter box may be exposed to damp, such as on an outside door, we recommend a suitable finish such as lacquer or varnish. Oiling will also give some protection.
Each letter box is hand cast, hand cleaned and finished, so they are very similar but not identical. Please unwrap your product from all protective packaging as soon as possible after delivery.
