Caring for cast iron
Cast iron can rust if it is exposed to moisture or high humidity. Where the hinge may get damp, we recommend a suitable finish such as lacquer or varnish. Oiling will also give some protection.
Each hinge is hand cast, hand cleaned and finished, so they are very similar but not identical. Please unwrap your product from all protective packaging as soon as possible after delivery.
