Cast Iron Letters A-Z 3″ – Black Finish

They suit house names, gate posts, doors, walls and small signs. You can also add a letter after a house number, such as 12B.

They are solid, heavy duty cast iron with a durable black finish, heavier and sturdier than many cheaper mass produced letters.

Each letter is 3 inch (76mm) high, 2 inch wide (the letter I is 1 1/4 inch wide) and 1/4 inch deep. Three inch is a clear, easy to read size for a house name on a door, gate post or wall.

Each letter is sold individually. Choose your letter from the drop down box, set the quantity and click Add to Cart, then continue shopping to add the next letter. If a letter repeats, choose it once and increase the quantity.

Each piece comes with its own fixing screws. Mark the positions with a pencil and spirit level, drill small pilot holes, then screw each piece into place. On brick, stone or render you will need to drill the wall and use wall plugs that suit the surface.

Our cast iron pieces are hand cast, so though similar they will not be identical. Each piece is hand finished and carefully aged for an authentic look.

The finish is durable and designed for outdoor use. As with any cast iron, if the coating is chipped or worn over time the bare metal can show surface rust. Touching up with exterior metal paint keeps them looking good.
